Coming in 2024: 5 Exciting New Attractions in Pigeon Forge
The new year is bringing all sorts of exciting new things to do in the Smoky Mountains area! Now that it’s officially 2024, it’s time to discuss all the new attractions you’ll be able to look forward to this year. Here’s a list of five of the exciting new attractions in Pigeon Forge that are set to open in 2024.
1. Crayola Experience
One of the new attractions in Pigeon Forge that the whole family can look forward to is Crayola Experience. This family-friendly attraction is housed in a 30,000-square-foot indoor facility. Kids and kids-at-heart can explore more than 20 hands-on activities where they can express their creativity and experience color like never before. There’s also a retail store where you can browse the world’s largest selection of Crayola products and find souvenirs to bring back home. This new attraction will bring an extra pop of color to Pigeon Forge in fall 2024.
2. Dig’n Zone Theme Park
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to operate heavy-duty construction equipment? If so, you can look forward to one of the new attractions in Pigeon Forge that’s coming in March 2024. Dig’n Zone Theme Park gives kids and adults the opportunity to operate real construction equipment in a safe and fun environment. This new theme park has more than 25 attractions spread across 27 acres, making it the largest construction-based theme park in the world. There are a variety of rides and attractions where you can find out what it’s like to operate excavators, forklifts, skid-steers, rollers, and more.
3. The Dolly Parton Experience at Dollywood
If you’re a fan of Dolly Parton, you’ll love the all-new Dolly Parton Experience coming to Dollywood in spring 2024. This is one of the most anticipated new attractions in Pigeon Forge for 2024. The Dolly Parton Experience offers a variety of interactive elements to allow guests to feel like they were a part of the journey Dolly made from her hometown roots to stages around the world. This experience spans multiple buildings and includes exhibits that showcase the country music legend’s iconic career, inspirations, biggest dreams, and even her signature style.
4. Space Race Adventures
Another one of the new attractions in Pigeon Forge that will offer indoor fun in 2024 is Space Race Adventures. This indoor amusement attraction takes visitors on a journey through the cosmos with a number of space-themed activities. Travel through three distinct planetary biomes as you putt your way through the mini golf course. Play laser tag on a sun-scorched desert planet. Explore various worlds and face unique challenges with virtual reality experiences. Space Race Adventures is set to open in the beginning of 2024 for kids and adults of all ages to enjoy.
5. NERF Action Xperience
A childhood favorite brand is bringing one of the new attractions in Pigeon Forge and is expected to open in fall 2024. The NERF Action Xperience offers an active play arena for NERF fans and families to explore. This indoor attraction spans 29,000 square feet and includes a variety of activities, from blaster battles to obstacle courses to sports challenges. The NERF Action Xperience also includes a retail store and snack area to refuel during your NERF adventure. This new attraction is located right along the main Parkway in Pigeon Forge, making it conveniently accessible for visitors.
New Cabins Available in 2024
There will be a lot of exciting new attractions in Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains in 2024 that you won’t want to miss! In addition to these new attractions, there are also new luxury cabins that are set to open this year. Coming in 2024 are the brand-new Big Bear Cove Lodge, Bear Mountain Lodge, and Great Elkmont Lodge.
