The Pirates Voyage Dinner Show in Pigeon Forge recently announced their first Christmas show since they opened. You will love the brand new take on the show, since it is based on “A Christmas Carol” with a pirate twist. Everyone will enjoy the mix of holiday fun with tropical entertainment! Here are 5 reasons why you should see the Pirates Voyage Christmas show:
1. Entertaining Story
The storyline for the Christmas show is a little different than the regular show’s story. Based on the popular story “A Christmas Carol,” Captain Scrooge and his first mate, Bob Crachit, take you on the hunt for the Christmas treasure. Along the way, you’ll encounter a Christmas castaway and her sea lion friend that does all kinds of tricks. There will be mermaids, tropical birds, an angel with a Christmas message, and a live nativity. Plus, watch the crews of the Crimson and the Emerald fight on land, deck, and sea to get to the treasure! You will be on the edge of your seat the entire show!
2. New Costumes
Instead of the regular pirate costumes, the whole cast will be decked out in Christmas themed clothing! Watch the shirts sparkle as the crew runs around the stage. Misfit toys come to life and dance around, and even the mermaids are in the Christmas spirit. The ships have holiday lights strung up on them. Everywhere you look during the show, you’ll know you’re here for the holidays!
3. Amazing Stunts
Even though the story is a little different than the regular show, the Pirates Voyage Christmas show still has the same amazing stunts! Watch as pirates swing and twirl from a trapeze and rope hanging from the ceiling. Their gymnastic talents are amazing as they pirates do back flips, run up a wall, and jump. Watch jugglers as they juggle giant candy canes and trainers help animals showcase their talent. There’s even a ton of pyrotechnics to keep you entertained! You won’t be able to look away from any of these amazing stunts.
4. Delicious Food
While you’re watching the Pirates Voyage Christmas show, you will get to enjoy a delicious four-course feast! Start out with a Buccaneer Biscuit and Voyager Creamy Vegetable Soup. The main meal includes Cracklin’ Pan Fried Chicken, Sugar Cured Ham, Matey’s Mac and Cheese, and Jolly Roger Sweet Potato Souffle. End your meal with a Walk the Plank Peach Turnover. You can have unlimited soda, coffee, or tea products. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meals are available upon request at the time of reservation.
