Here are some fantastic slides that you won’t want to miss while you’re there:
Don’t miss your chance to ride RiverRush at Dollywood’s Splash Country! This high-thrill ride was the first water coaster in the state of Tennessee, combining the rush of a water slide with the thrill of a roller coaster. The raft can seat up to four guests, which means you can experience this exciting ride with your family and friends! You’ll race through the trees four stories in the air as you drop and climb along the 1,175 feet of twisting track. Riders must be at least 42 inches tall to ride.
Another slide at Dollywood’s Splash Country that you can ride with your family is Big Bear Plunge. This 5-person raft ride holds endless adventure as you glide and splash along the 700-foot-long slide. The raft can spin unpredictably on the way down, so you never know if you’ll be facing forwards or have your back to the next drop! You’re guaranteed to get drenched and have plenty of fun on this must-do slide! Riders must be at least 36 inches tall to ride, and there need to be at least three riders in the raft to embark on this exciting water adventure.
Experience the thrill of the Smoky Mountain rivers at Dollywood’s Splash Country when you ride Wild River Falls! This attraction has four water slides that each offers a unique ride. Hop on a tube and pick a slide to experience twists, turns, and surprises before splashing into the pool at the bottom! The slides offer a mixture of dark tunnels and open-air chutes. Choose separate slides from your family members to race and see who makes it to the bottom first! You can ride on a single tube or double tube, but keep in mind that double tubes are intended for an adult and a child between 36 and 50 inches tall.
One of the most unique water slides at Dollywood’s Splash Country is SwiftWater Run! This thrilling ride is sure to get your heart pumping as you burst out of an enclosed tunnel into an open-air bowl where you’ll spin round and round until taking a final plunge! See how many times you can make it around before sailing down the chute! You can ride this slide on a single or double tube, so you can choose whether you want to experience it on your own or with a friend. If you choose a double tube, the combined weight limit is 400 pounds.
You can find one of the most exciting slides at Dollywood’s Splash Country right by the entrance. TailSpin Racer offers the best opportunity to race your family and friends to see who can get to the end first! Carry a mat to the top and hop on at the start of the slide. Countdown and blast off in a head-to-head race through a spiraling enclosed slide that opens into an open-air, side-by-side drop to the finish! Up to six riders can race at a time, and each rider must be at least 42 inches tall.
Are you brave enough to take a plunge on Fire Tower Falls? This is the tallest and fastest water slide at Dollywood’s Splash Country! Standing 70 feet in the air, this tower features twin free-fall body slides that take you on a high-speed plunge down a total of 280 feet of track. A water-filled lane awaits you at the end to bring your journey to an end with an impressive splash!
