If you’re looking to surround yourself with nature, we have the cabin for you! Tucked away just off the beaten path and only a half-mile from fabulous fishing in the well-stocked Little Pigeon River, Nature’s Hideaway is surrounded by trees and has a view of the Great Smoky Mountains. But, even if your idea of a hike is exploring every shop in nearby Pigeon Forge’s outlet mall, you’ll still love this 2-bedroom cabin. Among its amenities are an outdoor hot tub, an indoor jetted tub, and a game room with billiard and foosball tables.
The cabin’s front porch and 2 rear decks make it easy to soak up the sunshine and the fresh mountain air. From the porch’s hot tub you can watch the sunrise or wish on a star while luxuriating in its steamy, bubbling waters—sheer bliss!
You’ll find a dining table for 4 on the porch as well, plus a charcoal grill for cooking up trout you reeled in yourself… or hamburgers and hot dogs from the supermarket. Whatever you prepare, it’ll taste even better eaten outdoors—especially if you work up an appetite first by pitching horseshoes in the pit. Now, that’s mountain living!
Should you tire of grilling, you can rustle up a meal in Nature's Hideaway’s fully equipped kitchen. Full-size refrigerator/freezer, oven/stove, microwave, cookware, tableware… the only thing missing is food. If it’s too cold to eat outdoors, you can gather around the dining table adjacent to the kitchen, which seats 4, or even at the table in the basement game room, which seats 4 as well. Or maybe set the kids up in the game room while the adults enjoy a quiet, relaxed meal upstairs.
Actually, the kids might love that arrangement even more than the grown-ups, especially once they see the game room: It has both a pool table and a foosball table. In addition, there’s a plush sofa from which to watch the flat-panel TV—one of the cabin’s 4 televisions.
The largest TV is in the living room, on the main floor. With its large windows and comfortable seating, the living room is a cozy, inviting space for watching a movie with family and friends or curling up in the armchair with a book. It’s especially delightful in winter, thanks to the gas fireplace.
One of the bedrooms is on the main floor; the other is upstairs in the loft. The upstairs master suite has the advantage of a king-size bed; the main floor’s bedroom has a queen bed, but more than makes up for it with the addition of a jetted tub in its bathroom. Both bedrooms include a flat-panel TV and direct access to a deck. You can slip outside for a romantic drink in the moonlight, just the two of you. And because the bedrooms are on separate floors, the privacy makes Nature’s Hideaway perfect for 2 couples vacationing together.
Additional guests aren’t a problem; the living room sofa opens into a bed for 2, so that Nature’s Hideaway can sleep up to 6 people. Four-legged guests are also welcome—after all, pets deserve a vacation too, and running around in the cabin’s spacious yard will be much more fun for Rover than sitting alone in a kennel.
Among the cabin’s other benefits is its convenient location. Despite its secluded setting, Nature’s Hideaway is just 15 minutes from the restaurants, shops, and amusements of downtown Gatlinburg. It’s also near the Greenbrier entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with its waterfalls, hiking trails, wildflowers, and wildlife. Skiing, golf courses, the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, and Dollywood are a short ride away as well.
Whether you’re on a fishing trip with friends, a romantic getaway, or an on-the-go family vacation, Nature’s Hideaway has everything you need to make your stay a delightfully memorable one. Before you can start making memories, though, you need to book your stay—so do it today, and get ready for your best vacation yet!
